My daughter and her husband are in the process of adopting a little girl. They’ve been fostering her since she was a few weeks old. During one of our many chats, my daughter expressed her frustration at not being able to find clothes that are more traditionally for boys, like cars, trucks, space, dinosaurs etc,. but in traditional pink girly colours.
It inspired me to see if I could take my popular dinosaur prints and re-colour them pink! So fun! I love the result and I loved thinking of my little granddaughter as I changed up the designs. I think I’m going do a pink/purple/yellow colourway at some point too. Now I need to think about making a quilt or maybe a couple of reading cushions for her.
My Pink Dinosaurs Collection is available on various fabrics in my Spoonflower shop. You can also buy a digital version of the repeat pattern of the main design in the collection, in my Etsy shop.
I love breathing new love into my designs by creating a new colourway. I often get requests from customers for specific colours or a scale/size change. I do all colour and size changes to my existing designs, free of charge.
